Heute stellen wir Ihnen die erste der drei nominierten Künstlerinnen für den diesjährigen Förderanakauf »Junge Schmuckkunst im Museum« vor! Alle Arbeiten sind mittlerweile im Schmuckmuseum angekommen und unsere Vereinsmitglieder werden am 3. Juni eins der Schmuckstücke auswählen. Das Gewinnerstück wird dann in die moderne Sammlung des Museums aufgenommen.
Schmuck und künstliche Intellignez? Die Künstlerin Tatjana Kutsõk ist Absolventin der Estonian Academy of Arts und sagt über ihre Reihe MASQUERADE: »These are self-portraits that were born at different moments in time as a result of a prompt to an artificial intelligence. According to the simulacrum concept, an AI’s representation of identity is not real, but a copy that is neither original nor authentic. However, in the age of artificial intelligence, the line between reality and simulation has become almost non-existent, and representations have taken on a life of their own, often being more real than the reality they imitate. The copy reproduces its image over and over again by synthesizing continuously accumulating data, creating the illusion of artificial intelligence’s self-awareness.«
