With the award “Young Jewellery Art in the Museum,” we honour young jewellery artists each year, supporting and encouraging them in their artistic development. At the same time, the acquisition of contemporary jewellery pieces contributes to the expansion of the Modern Collection of the Jewellery Museum Pforzheim.
Since 1998, we have honoured young jewellery creators each year for their exceptional work, thereby increasing the visibility of their art and supporting them as they progress in their professional careers. Contemporary jewellery pieces are acquired when the artists’ works express an innovative artistic vision. Trends may come and go, but thanks to our experienced association members, who collectively serve as the jury in this selection process, we are able to develop an eye for what truly endures. Together with the Jewellery Museum, we are committed to acquiring early works by outstanding jewellery artists for the museum’s collection in order to document and showcase their artistic development.
